Life update flurry
It's time yet again for another life update. Not that there's anything much to update, but what's a personal blog without the occasional narcissistic lookback on one's self, right? Right.
- I haven't been exercising regularly. Mostly because I've been too depressed to do so -- being unemployed and having a lack of purpose does that to you sometimes. But I went back to the gym yesterday, and to my surprise, I still had it. I did my full-on regular routine, and I didn't feel the fatigue I thought I would. Color me shocked. I'll probably go back more often now that I know it's actually mood-lifting.
- Oh yeah, the job thing. Well, I've pretty much given up on the Big Tech Company calling back within the next month. I applied for a couple of other jobs, and already went for an interview for an internship gig. Yeah, I know it's only an internship, but at least it's paid, and it's within the field I want to be in. I'm considering having a weekend sales job of some kind, or at least some kind of freelance thing, to supplement my income. I don't know yet.
- A bit of a continuation of the internship thing. I don't want to jinx my chances, so I won't talk too much about it. But I gotta say, the interview went pretty well. And my TechTV experience really provided me an "in," so to speak. So, crossed fingers and toes there.
I've run out of things to talk about (I'm sure something else will pop up in my head later on). Well, until next time then.
PS. Oh by the way, I'm blogging this from the iMac "cybercafe" in the San Francisco Apple Store. The new iPods look so cool. And it looks like they're just starting a presentation in the projection area.
PPS. Why am I downtown? Hah. Wouldn't you like to know? ;)
